How nice it would have been for us if it was only hearts on her little bottom.
On a sweeter note, Tate and Daddy had a special Valentine's lunch date. He left the house while I got her ready and when it was time to go he came to the door like a gentleman, gave her a rose and off they went. Tatum got to pick the restaurant and she decided on Ruby Tuesday's. She is a apparently a very bossy date as well. She insisted that Daddy should order the soup because according to her they have very good soup there.

In more exciting Tatum news, she lost her first tooth yesterday. We noticed it was loose around the begining of January and it has gotten more and more gross and wiggly everyday. I was of course concerned that she had a loose tooth so young. Whenever a problem like this arises and I need an answer I always turn to Google. Google eased my mind as it usually does and the are some kids that start losing teeth as early as age 4. The earlier the kids start cutting teeth, the earlier they loose them apparently. Tate got her first tooth at 3 months so that does make sense. Last week she came and asked us to tie a string to it and pull it out that way. She said she knew it would hurt a little and it would bleed but that was ok with her. For those of you who really know Tatum, she is scared of anything and everything so this brave new attitude was surprising. We decided we would do the string tied to the door knob trick. It took a few attempts to get the string securely on her tooth but we finally managed. I had my camera ready to record and was so excited to finally have something interesting to post. Christopher opened the door and started to get Tatum in position so he could close it and then she lost it. So and 9:00p.m. we have our front door wide open and a little girl screaming at the top of her lungs with a loose tooth still in her mouth.
Last night Tatum came to us again wanting us to pull it using our hands. The string idea was one thing but having to actually pull it with my own hands was something I just could not do. After some begging she was finally able to convince her daddy to do it. With on quick yank the tooth was out and Tatum was one very excited and very hyper little girl. We spent the next half hour calling people so she could tell them about her tooth. The tooth fairy almost forgot to come but at 6:30 in the morning she(he) remembered and managed to sneak in and out of of Tatum's room without her knowing.
